ALM Commissioning

A highlight in May saw our pastoral intern, Leonie, and one of our volunteers Liz, receive their Authorised Lay Ministry (ALM) certification in Pastoral Ministry from Bishop Ruth at Chichester Cathedral. In a service where a record number of 112 people were commissioned as Authorised Lay Ministers. Bishop Ruth spoke of working in beauty, hope and compassion - and celebrating the One God who has called and equipped all by his Spirit, a reason to rejoice!

ALMs play a vital role in supporting and enriching parish life, through a wide range of ministries; including Pastoral Care, Worship, Liturgy, Youth Work, Music and Chaplaincy.
